Based on James Patterson’s 2011 novel for kids, the movie Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life is set for release on October 7th, 2016. The first trailer has just been released.

Director Steve Carr (Paul Blart: Mall Cop), comparing this movie to his earlier family films (Daddy Day Care, Dr. Dolittle 2), tells Entertainment Weekly, “This book came along and I found it’s a better version of the movies that I’ve been making,”
