Booker Shortlist Announced
And, sadly, Me Cheetah, the fake bio of a famous Hollywood chimp, is not on the shortlist.
Surprisingly, neither is Colm Toibin’s Brooklyn.
The UK’s Telegraph calls this” the best shortlist in years” and says it is “striking how many of these novels are by women.” The Booker Web site has the judges’ descriptions of the titles.
