No DAYBREAK in Libraries

Writing about the book Daybreak by David Swanson, the Huffington Post headline declares “Glenn Beck’s Book Bumped from Amazon #1 by Progressive’s First Book.”

From #1 n Amazon’s politics list, that is; Dan Brown is still at #1 on the general list. Daybreak comes in at a still-impressive #6, right above Glenn Beck’s Common Sense at #7.

The book is from indy NYC publisher Seven Stories Press, known for its books on politics and human rights, if not for bestsellers.

The libraries we checked do not own it.

The Huffington Post says the book,

…discusses how between George W. Bush and Barack Obama, the power of the White House has become too great, why it is too much and what to do about it. Swanson explores how the voluntarily impotent congress has allowed this uber-powerful presidency to develop and retain its powers.
