Leaks from a “tell-all” book about the Secret Service by former Washington Post reporter Ronald Kessler made headlines last week. The book, which will be published on Tuesday, broke into the Amazon 100 over the weekend and appears to not be on order in libraries.

Many news stories followed the New York Post “Page Six” headline, Jenna and Barbara Bush Gave Secret Service Fits. The story mentions other claims, however; that Richard Nixon’s v.p. Spiro Agnew had affairs while in office and that President Obama has not cut back on his smoking as much as he claims.

Wonkette takes a dim view of these “revelations.”

According to the news blog, Politics Daily, Kessler also says that the Secret Service has been lax in protecting Obama.
