Unveiling THE LOST SYMBOL
News organizations around the world are covering the reveal of the cover of the new Dan Brown title The Lost Symbol, which clearly indicates that the book is set in Washington, D.C.
Brown’s editor, Jason Kaufman tells Motoko Rich reports in the NYT Arts Beat blog that,
…it’s a Washington few will recognize. As we would expect, he pulls back the veil — revealing an unseen world of mysticism, secret societies, and hidden locations, with a stunning twist that long predates America.
The book will be released on Sept. 15. It is embargoed, so no advance reviews. No matter; libraries already have it on order in quantity.
As a result of all the attention, the book rose to #2 (from #18) on Amazon.
