NYT Hardcover Fiction Debuts; 7/12

Pony

What’s with the pony? It’s the one Mary Kay Andrews promised you on Library Love Fest if her new book, The Fixer Upper went on the bestseller list.

It did; at #13, so here’s your pony, direct from Andrews’s blog.

This is the second time on the hardcover fiction list for Andrews; her ’08 title, Deep Dish also went on at #13 and stayed on the extended list for three more weeks.

Based on hold patterns in six large libraries we checked, Andrews is more popular in libraries than the titles that debuted at #2 and #4; The Fixer Upper has a total of 344 holds, while The Doomsday Key has 317 and The Omen just 54.
