Aim High

The press may be excited about the next Scott Turow book, but the long-lead title that is tearing it up on Amazon is the next title from Max Tucker [update: I’ve got the name reversed; it’s actually Tucker Max], author of I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell (on the NYT paperback bestseller list since Jan ’06 and still on reserve in many libraries). As of this writing, the upcoming title is at #25 on Amazon, even though it won’t be published until February of next year.

Originally announced for January, 2008, the book has been pushed back several times.

Like Scott Turow, Tucker has changed publishers, from Kensington’s Citadel imprint to Simon and Schuster Spotlight (well, you can’t expect loyalty from an asshole, can you?)
