‘My Booky Wook’ a Best Seller
Today’s NYT review of British comedian Russell Brand’s memoir, My Booky Wook, follows a week of publicity and the airing of his Comedy Central special, “Russell Brand Live in New York.” The book enters the 3/29 NYT Nonfiction list at #9 and the 3/19 USA Today best seller list at #147.
Several of the large libraries I checked are showing heavy holds on modest ordering.

Brand is famous in the UK, but not so much here, where he is best known here for his role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and a controversial gig hosting MTV’s Video Music Awards last fall.
