The new Oprah Book Club pick, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle zoomed to #2 on the USA Today bestseller list. Despite the powerful Oprah nod, it couldn’t beat out he YA hit Brsingr, still at #1 after two weeks.
HBO’s True Blood may not be tearing up the ratings (even so, the series has recently been renewed for a second season), but the series has given a real boost to the books it’s based on.
