Houghton Mifflin Everywhere
Many of you may have joined the first AAP Book Editors Online and Unscripted webcast today. Featured was the publisher of the recently combined Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Adult Trade Books.
It happens that the author of one of their fall titles, Whatever It Takes: Geoffrey Canada’s Quest to Change Harlem and America by Paul Tough was on Fresh Air with Terry Gross last night. As a result of that appearance, the book rose to #168 on Amazon’s sales rankings (from 1,343). The libraries I checked have modest quantities, with some holds.
