Booker Shortlist

The shortlist for the major UK literary prize, the Booker Prize was announced today. The big take away is that Salman Rushdie’s Enchantress of Florence is not included. 

The winner will be announced Oct. 14.

  • Favorite (15/8) — The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga
  • Outsider (7/1)  — A Fraction of the Whole by Steve Toltz

William Hill’s:

  • Favorite (2/1) — The Secret Scripture by Sebastian Barry
  • Second joint favorite (3/1) — A Fraction of the Whole by Steve Toltz
