Spring Books
Slate looks at what their editors are reading this Spring. Of course, politics dominates the list, but, amazingly, one book of poetry is included (The One-Strand River: Poems, 1994-2007 , Richard Kenney, Knopf) and, even more amazingly, a book of poetry criticism (The Modern Element: Essays on Contemporary Poetry, by Adam Kirsch, W.W. Norton).
Two of the nonfiction titles on the list have been getting attention:
The Post-American World

While lower in sales rank on Amazon (#337), this one shows heavier reserves at libraries.
