“Earth” Rises
Entertainment Weekly gives Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri a B+, but the review reads more like an “A.” Michiko Kakutani, also gives it a strong review in today’s New York Times.
The book, which was just released, has jumped to #5 on Amazon. Reserves are mounting fast at the libraries I checked. In one case, there are 163 reserves on 26 copies. Many still show it on order — time to get those copies on the shelves!
