It’s The Mocks!

Many of us are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the Newbery winner and honor books at the upcoming ALA Midwinter meeting. So, too are the kids at the Bank Street College of Education School for Children. They have already voiced their opinion in the annual Bank Street Mock Newbery Awards. 1. DianeN Says:

The Mock’s, hmmm? Kinda sad when an obvious typo like that jumps out at you…

  2. Nora Rawlinson Says:

Oy, Diane! I feel like the queen of typos today. The absolute WORST is making one in a headline (Let me point out that was NOT Lisa’s headline — I wrote it). I caught it myself, but too late. Don’t know what I was thinking…Anyway, I always appreciate corrections, even if they make me squirm.
