Three indie booksellers picked sixteen titles for NPR’s summer reading feature.

The lead title, The Lonely Polygamist, has already enjoyed considerable advance attention from booksellers.

Daniel Goldin, of Boswell Book Co. in Milwaukee, sold me on Fifth Ave. 5 a.m., even though this pick didn’t make it to the radio show. If you’re not grabbed by the cover alone, check out the excerpt. Sounds like it would be a great basis for a book/movie reading group.
