I was so happy to read Josefa comment because it is so true. Teenagers need to read and be inspired by love, young romance, and great adventures.....fascination journeys...
Something magical, for love and young romance is MAGICAL...
Paranormal and magical are different. The magic happens inside readers when something is really believable and true.
I am passionate about showing young adults and adults love through magical stories...
Believe and let the magic happen...
I will continue to write with my heart so all my readers can dream...of love and magic.

I think this is wonderful. I just hope that they publish YA romances that do not always involve the paranormal. I have two teenage daughters that absolutely love reading, but are tired of having to read about vampires, werewolves, immortals, etc. It was fine reading one or two books that revolved around that, but enough is enough. It's so difficult to find romances that involve only humans that are suitable for teenagers. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against them reading about teenagers having sex. I just prefer that they not get all the graphic detail that is found in adult romance novels. I'm sure that there are many authors out there that would love to have there books published, but because they opt not to include the paranormal in it, the manuscripts are being bypassed. Agents and Editors, please note: Young Adults want romance. Realistic romance. Don't forget that these teen romance readers are the future adult romance readers of tomorrow. Let's get them started on the right path!

I am surprised that neither SLJ, USA Today, nor this post mentions another Harlequin imprint for teens/young adults: Kimani TRU, which Harlequin/Kimani Press bills as, "Groundbreaking young-adult fiction, Kimani TRU focuses on the triumphs and obstacles of today's African-American youth with wit and realism!" http://www.eharlequin.com/store.html?cid=590
Great for teens looking for realistic novels.
