Reserve Alert: METHLAND
The ravages dealt by methamphetamine on one small town in Iowa is the subject of Methland, featured on NPR’s All Things Considered last night. The book has been reviewed widely, including the lead review of the 7/12 NYT BR, The Washington Post, the LA Times and the Wall Street Journal.
Many libraries are showing heavy reserves on light ordering (63 on 2 copies in one case). It has been rising on Amazon’s sales rankings and now is at #36.
