Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World by librarian Vicki Myron, is moving up the USA Today bestseller list. It’s now at #22, from #43 last week. This is the book’s second week on the list.
Also on the rise is Love Dare, the companion to the Christian-themed movie Fireproof. It rose to #38 from #94 last week. As we pointed out on Tuesday, two other titles related to the movie are also rising on Amazon.

According to an article in the San Diego Union, Jeremiah, “mega-pastor and TV evangelist” says clues point to the end and Christians need to jump-start conversion efforts. Says the story, “Jeremiah is particularly tough on Islam in his book. Islamic terrorism is among the signs he says are pointing toward the end times…His solution: convert Muslims to Christianity.” The arcticle quotes a moderate Muslim and professor of religious studies who says Jeremiah’s book “is not constructive in any way for the Christian or the Muslim. Everything he is saying is so divisive.”
